Mr. Joseph Song, Director of Operations, brings expertise with venture and private equity investments in renewable energy and business operations, having supported over $1B of strategic investments and previously served as division Director of a $3 billion American manufacturer with over 7,000 employees.
Mr. Song’s experience includes the launch of a new product which achieved revenues of over $200M per year, and worked to establish a $100M manufacturing operation for expansion into Asian markets.
Mr. Song is an experienced, hands-on operations leader with over a decade of success at industry-leading manufacturers, negotiating key partnership arrangements, and working side-by-side with portfolio companies in order to accelerate growth.
Throughout his career, Mr. Song has been highly successful in leveraging his unique background in Strategy, Finance, Process Improvement, and Data Analytics to help both large, multi-billion-dollar enterprises and small, start-up companies scale and grow quickly.
At SolarWindow Asia, he is responsible for business operations and identifying business, market, and technology opportunities for the Company. He also supports management in the research, analysis, due diligence, negotiation and consummation of deals.
Mr. Song is highly passionate about serving the community, including sitting on the board of a non-profit in the Korean-American community. He also volunteers as a mentor at a non-profit that helps disadvantaged youth.
Born, raised and educated in the United States, Mr. Joseph Song earned his MBA from Emory University and undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Tennessee. He also holds a Korean language degree from Yonsei University.
